Introducing Balou
Introducing my new baby boy who I collected today from Gatcombe. His mother is Holly's Caramel's sister, so we are still keeping it in the family.
He is 2 days older than my babies and his bloodlines fit in very well with my own girls so I have big plans for him. We have called him Balou.

He's a real beauty Basia, with a gorgeous expression. I love that second photo especially, it just makes me wonder what was going through his mind at that exact moment!
Oh I need another hammie.......ooo wait.....6 more days then Bronte joins us!

He's gorgeous (I know 'cos I saw him in the flesh ).
I was just going to say he's a cousin to all my little guys and his face is so like theirs it's scary! We are keeping Mars who is a LH male and Patrick is keeping Button also LH male - we'll have to compare them, I think they are quite alike.
Balou reminds me of Caramel as a baby so much.

I decided to put him in a cage on his own in the end and took those couple of snaps before I put the top on it. He and my boys didn't fight at all, he just kept right away from them and didn't become part of the gang so I thought he might as well go into his own cage.
He is very quiet and has found and loves his wheel.
How are your girls?

They are lovely thanks Gill, kind of wanting them to come out and play but mine was still awake until around 11am gathering food and such!
