Re: POLL: Which bedding is best?
megazorb and aubious here
aubiouse is bigger and cheeper, but megazorb is a bit softer.
i think they are both pretty much on par with each other for absourbancy though, and neithers are dusty

Megazorb here. I don't have any long-haired hammies though.

Re: POLL: Which bedding is best?
I prefer Aubiose It absorbs well and comes in big cheap bales, making it great value for me as I use so much!
Occasionally if Aubiose isn't in stock, I'll use megazorb, but I find that more dusty and teh bag doesn't last as long.
Although I'm slightly allergic to both...helpful I know

Re: POLL: Which bedding is best?
I use Megazorb; good for value, absorbant, low in dust, easy to dig in and lasts for ages.
Used Carefresh once and hated it, plus one bag just about filled Cooper's HH.

Re: POLL: Which bedding is best?
I'm using Carefresh at the moment, but I'll probably order a bag of Megazorb once we move and have somewhere to store it. Bailey likes to make a nest in the corner of her cage with the Carefresh though - will she be able to do this with Megazorb, or are the pieces too small to really stay together?

Re: POLL: Which bedding is best?
Megazorb is fine for nesting, Cookie and Shiloh have both made some pretty impressive open nests with it.

Re: POLL: Which bedding is best?
Megazorb is great for nesting/tunneling as it holds it's shape so well.

Re: POLL: Which bedding is best?
Fab, thanks. I'll give it a try once we've moved, then - it'd certainly be cheaper for when Bailey gets her bigger cage.
