I haven't posted any pics of Nelly for a while so I thought you might like to see how he is getting on! He is a good age now (2 1/2) and is starting to slow down. His fur is getting thinner and he often gets sticky eyes which need bathing (which is why he looks a bit damp in the pics). He still loves coming out for his cuddles, and is as placid and loving as ever. It just goes to show that even though you're old you can still be cute!!!

Well I think he looks very good for his age Pophammy. He is still a very handsome boy. May he continue to enjoy many happy and healthy days for a long time to come

Pophammy, just a quick question. Is Nelson the hamster that you won Junior best in show with at Lymm in 2006? I was just browsing through the NHC gallery ealier and wondered - Do I know that beautiful cream face?

Spud's Mum ~ No he's not, but the ham which did (Red) is his daughter! She has had 2 BIS Juniors now, so we are very pleased with her. One of his other children, Paws, got BOS Junior as well. Nelson has got a few firsts at shows though, but has been 'retired' for a while now! His wife, Bailey (R.I.P

) got a BIS Junior too. So they have done quite well as a family!

Ok - I obviously got confused, but there is definitely a strong family resemblance!!!

You have done very well with your girls and boys haven't you. You must have been very proud of them all, especially Mummy Bailey - bless her. I just got my August journal today and was explaining about the front cover. My partner Arti thought that Bailey was a stunning girl and asked me to pass that on to you.
