Default Escape from colditz

Something to brighten your day.
Asbo escaped from his barred prison last night, my fault entirely as the door was left open by yours truly. he must have had a fine time running about the room. he was discovered in the cabinet where the computer is kept amongst the wires. I only found hem when the computer was switched on at the mains and his brown body suddenly came into view from behind the computer tower. Luckily he didn't chew on the mains cable at that moment or else he would have been spirited up to the Great Wheel in the sky as well as dry roasted! He had chewed through the usbhub cable and part of the keyboard cable so it couldn't work but that has been fixed up today.
Needless to say, the cute little vandal was unperturbed by his experience, was put back into his cage and seems none the worse for his experience.
That'll teach me to be more careful in future

Whoa. Lucky little thing!

My friend's hamster crawled under the refrigerator and got electrocuted. He had no paws or ears, just stubs and holes in his head. =p It was horrible.

Aw that's terrible!

I'm so glad yours was found in time!

Hamsters are so curious and everything's chewable as far as they are concerned.

I frequently have panicky trips back to the flat to make sure I have locked all the cage doors before I go to work And yes, they always are closed but I'd rather be safe than sorry.
