Default Is it ok If I put a felted wool blanket in their cage???

I know they will chew on it but is it ok???

No Jelly felted wool is not suitable for hamsters as if they did chew on it it could be taken in and block the intestines causing death. Wool, natural or not is not digestable and should not be uses in cages. It could also get tangled round feet and toes causing problems. It is also unhygenic and would become soiled and smelly. It is not necessary. Provide your hams with suitable bedding and plenty torn tissue for bedding and they will be happy.
