Default And then there were four....

(but only temporarily )

My son and I have both had a nasty tummy bug and the hammies haven't been out a lot for the past couple of days - so tonight was playtime!

Custard:

Mocha: (asking why he only gets a tiny nibble of the fattening stuff when it's photo time )

Treacle:

And the new arrival - only temporarily as we are looking after him for a friend who is going on holiday - he's the hammy who started it all off for us as we looked after him for 10 days in the run up to Christmas

Introducing Tinsel:

Good training for us to see if we can look after FOUR hammies ok

Thanks Hana - we are coping now. Tinsel only arrived last night but we've had the bug in our house since Sunday night (Will first then me on Tuesday night ). It's dragging on a bit as both of us don't feel 100% yet and I didn't want the hamsters to be touched while were ill - just in case. We've been getting them out directly into their exercise balls up until tonight but, with very clean hands, we've had them all out for a long play tonight which they all seemed to enjoy - including Tinsel (I'm sure he doesn't remember us but he certainly wasn't fazed being handled by Will ).

Sooo...we think it's pretty nice having four (eek!) ..but it's going to be a lot nicer once we are better!
