Sleeping Under Water Bottle?
Okay, so Goliath has recently tried to sleep under his waterbottle. I don't want him to do this as the bedding piling up makes his waterbottle drip, and his bottle sometimes drips anyway. Any way you can think of to get him to stop going there? Putting stuff on top of the spot doesn't do any good as he just burrows under it...

Stella used to do this, Everytime i moved the bottle or her bed she still moved back under it.
Maybe give him a cardboard box for him to sleep in?

Oh, and I can't really move it because of the way his cage is set up because if I move everything he gets grumpy with me.

Re: Sleeping Under Water Bottle?
lol. Grumpy Hammy
You could try just blowing on him whenever you see him there. Buster started doing this and blowing on him (quite hard) seemed to rmemdy this as he just could not get comfy and he moved

Hehe. I did this this morning and whenever I did it he went under his igloo to ignore me. He's quite the dignified hamster. :/ It was funny but I don't know. I kicked him out of his comfy spot and he wasn't happy. :P

Re: Sleeping Under Water Bottle?
Well if that does not work you could always try building some steps under the water bottle but not too high (maybe inch gap) so that he cant get under with comfort. Maybe using a stone or something so it cant be moved. Just make sure you boil it or something before using if its umm.. 'borrowed' from the garden.
