Default hiff-hiff

Hi everyone,

I only just joined, I'm just saying goodbye to Hiff-hiff, my oldest ham. He was 2 years, 8 months and I think he did very well for such a little guy. He was always tiny, he was the runt of a litter but I think he lived a good life.

He even outlived most of his children (apart from the only boy, who I still have). I wish he could have lived longer, this has been a very sad day but his time had come.

Bye, little man xx

This was taken only a few weeks ago, he was getting a little bit frail but he still loved to play. I'll miss him very much.

Thank you for your comments

I'm very sorry to hear about Hamlet, Kait - but I'm sure he didn't suffer at all and I hope you will find another ham to care for very soon - these little guys sure know how to tug at our heartstrings!

Hiff-hiff took to his nest and fell asleep peacefully - I was ready to lose him but it still upsets me. It's 3am now in UK, I lost him only a few hours ago. We'll bury him tomorrow with his friends xx

Thank you all for your comments

They have made me feel much better, thanks for welcoming me. I will miss my little friend - he was my first ham and he was kind of special - I can't really explain it, he just was..

Hope to see you all around soon, this is a great place.

xx Dan xx
