Default Gwens Yogurt Drops

About a week ago I stopped to pick up a new cage so my two little robo's muffin and cupcake could have a full sized cage of their own to live in since they were fighting. While I was there I grabbed a small bag of these yogurt drops. I've heard people talk about these hammy treats plenty but hadn't bothered to buy any until recently.

Mine are by Nutriphase and are Wild Berry flavor, they are kind of pink/purple in color. I have to say, these little drops look quite tantalizing to me! And they smell delicious! I'm tempted to try one for myself lol!

My robos and gerbils seem to like them and Gwen especially! I tried to get a picture of her holding one, but she stuffed it in her cheek pouch before I managed.

And here she is searching the bag for more!

I've tried plenty of pet foods before out of curiosity, that includes cat food, dog food, god biscuits lol... and now yes Yogurt drops! Of course "testing" animal feed isn't a common thing I do lol. But here is what I found.. the Nutriphase Wild Berry flavor of yogurt drops kind of tastes like a fruity berry flavor of vitamin chew for kids. It had a sort of soft creamy texture and in a way reminded me of yogurt.

Do you think they have humans eating these things for testing in the Nutriphase labs? lol

Gwen is a lovely hamster. I don't think I would try the pet food myself. Maybe only the apple and cucumber they get as I like fruit and vegetables myself

I dont think many, if any actually. She didn't appear to have anything extra in her cheeks before she backed out of there lol.

Ya its a US brand I guess, but it looks decent. The ingredients are few which is usually a good sign. Its says on the back it contains.. sugar, vegetable oil, whey powder, dried skimmed milk, forrestpowder, yogurt powder, corn starch, lecithin and vanilla.

Obviosuly not a treat you want to offer allot of at once.

Thanks for the compliment bubbles, I will be sure to pass it on to little Gwendolyn. My hammies often get fresh treat rather then pre-made store bought things like yogurt drops. Saves money and I know its healthy.
