I'm not entirely sure what you are asking Lila? Are you asking if its safe to move your hamster cage to another area of your home?

Or are you asking if it will disturb her much while you do various activities in your bedroom and around her cage

If you can sleep fine at night that shouldnt be a problem. My hamster is in the living room and we do move around a bit, but it doesnt seem to disturb her. It only does if you get close to her cage and she seems to sense your their.

If your room is an average size it should be fine to keep a hammie in there, but if it is a problem I would maybe ask your parents to see if you can move your ham to a different area of your house.

Well, in my experience hamsters seem to be pretty heavy sleepers when they are on their sleep schedule, especially syrian hamsters. My dwarf robo hams tend to peek their noses out from their nests when they hear someone close by, but they quickly fall asleep again.

I live in a small apartment, most of my rodents are kept in the main living area which includes our kitchen and living room which are open to each other. So needless to say there is usually allot happening around the cages. I like to listen to music, watch Tv, my husband Smoo even plays guitar sometimes, and the rodents never seemed disturbed. So I wouldn't worry about it. The only way you could cause sleep deprivation ( if thats even possible for a hamster ) would be to be constantly picking up the cage or jostling it. So I dont think you have much to worry about.

Hamsters seem to adapt well to noise. We have a kitchen hamster and she never bothers about the constant coming and going in there. They can get noisy at night so if she keeps you awake you can always pop her in an unused room for the night. When you are at school she will have plenty peace in your room.
