Moulting?

i only got my hamster yesturday but ive already had 3 scares!
2 ive told you about but this is my last. My hamster is malting i didnt know hamsters did malt. Is it the stress of being in a new home or is Lila Ill i hope not ohh please help i beg of you??!!??!?!?!?!?!?!,

Try not to worry. You said your hammy might be a long haired syrian, to my knowledge, long haired syrians can moult.

How old is your hammie?

I guess you mean moulting as in fur loss Lilaham? Hamsters do moult though it is not usually terribly noticable as in big patches falling out. Can you see the skin and does it look red? I would not expect a youngster to have noticeable fur loss at this age. She may just be getting her full coat and if she is going to be a long haired hamster it will be starting to look patchy and fluffy as some bits grow quicker than others.
