Hamsters will squeak sometimes. They can squeak when scared or frightened, and sometimes they will squeak with pleasure. Dwarf hamsters tend to be more vocal than Syrians. Our hammies 'chatter' when they smell another hammy or sometimes when they're happy. There is nothing wrong with her if she squeaks, she is just a happy alert hammy!

I agree with pophammy, their isnt anything to worry about if your ham squeaks. mine does it sometimes or if I hold hammis near my ear I can hear her squeak.

It is common for hammies to chirp, squeak or chatter and wheeze a bit, especially babies and hamsters in unfamiliar situations. As she gets tamer she will probably stop it.

Conker squeaks all the time, I think it is at times to get our attention and the other times - just cos she likes to talk. I don't think you should worry...
