Hammie update/pics!!!
Hello everyone! Sorry I haven't posted in awhile! I've been busy with school and all. Carmelo is doing good, as spoiled as he is. My dad brought him to school at the beginning of the period on Friday for science class. (he had to run around in his ball on the floor to show Newton's 1st law and all that junk. Don't worry, I was extra careful!) Everyone loved him! He was an instant hit! Everyone thought he was cute! He was a very good boy too! We wanna get a hamster as a class pet! but that makes me leiry about it. :/ Anyways, my mom took him home at the end of the period and it was a good day. When I took him out later that day, he slept on me and it was SO cute! I am also gonna make a Christmas list for Carmelo for "Hammieclaus" hehe We are gonna go to petco and get some things for him. Any of you doing that or am I just hammie crazy? Anyways... to the pics!

Carmelo is adorable! Thanks for sharing the pictures, we love to see updates here on HC thats for sure! I'm glad that hes doing well. I think I recall brining in my first hamster named Teddy to school for show and tell. Wow that was a /long/ time ago lol.
Your cat is silly. Its funny how felines are so curious about everything. My cat Yari likes to sit on top of the ten gallon tank section of my gerbils bin enclosure. She just sits there and watches them back and forth from cage to cage via the tube hehe.
As for Christmas presents for my hams.... I think id like to get them something. But it all depends on money, time blah blah blah. Besides if I stopped before Christmas to buy them something, chances are I'd be unable to wait until Christmas morning and just give them their presents early hehe.

Hi hammiesarelovex3 , Havent heard from you for a while. Glad Carmelo is ok, Hammis is fine and it is her birthday in a few days, she will be one year old.
I will be getting her some vitakraft strawberry treats for her birthday and christmas. :P
The schools must be great over there, as no animals are allowed in are school, to do with safety reasons.
Keep us updated!

aww thank you! your welcome. did you bring your hammie for show and tell at what age?
yeah I think that's how they got the phrase "curiousity killed the cat"! She sits on top of the cage also!! how strange!
Yeah I can't wait to get him stuff and it's gonna be so hard to not give it to him, I'll probably give it to him early.

Hey minicooper!!! Thank you, congrats on your 1 year old!
I have the vitakraft yogurt drops and Carmelo LOVES them! You should get some, they are supposed to be "healthy" for them!
That stinks, my science teacher just had to let the office know that a hamster was coming.

Carmelo is such a sweetie. I bet no one will ever forget that science lesson! I have taken two of my hamsters into primary school. We have a school hamster, a Campbells called Ginger, but everyone calls him Spud! He lives in the Biology department, and various people are responsible for his care.
