Default Moving a few states away and...

I'm moving a few states away and I need to know how to transport my hamster.
I'm afraid to do it by plane because of the noise, but I don't know if a train will take her.

I'm going from Chicago to North Carolina, it's a bit of a trip and I have no car.
Any ideas?

it would be better to transport by train then plane, i would think. contact the train service you'd be using and see if they'll allow you to bring her on. I'm sure you'll be able to find one that will and i would think that would be the best way.

There are very few airlines that will allow the transportation of hamsters due to the risk of them escaping and squeezing into small gaps. Train would be a much better option, i'm sure they'd be fine with it.

Im sure a train will allow you to take her on. I know we are in a different country but over hear you can take most things in the train as long as they are contained and dont cause a nuisence to other passengers. Iv taken my cat to London before. Its about 600 miles he was causing a racket as he doesnt like his box. I explained this to the conductor and he let me get him out and sit on my knee to look out the window. I never heard another peep from him.
