Default Re: Hammy escaped last night.. somehow??

Phoebe escaped from her zz2 2 nights ago. I know she is starting to get bored of the babies now but not that much she wanted to escape

I got woke up to something scratching at cardboard and thought it was the gerbils but I look again and there is Phoebe standing asif 'help!'. Luckily my bedroom door was shut and she ran into my hands. Was my fault because I forgot to take out a rather high toy that the babies like. But the top of the cage is covered in chicken wire so it's still a bit

Exactly the same Poodle... It's strange how these buggers do it?? Hammy loves his hammock and bridge but I don't know if I want to risk putting it back in...

Have loved and lost so many little ones. Each of them has taken a little piece of my heart!

They get out of anything given half a chance. She was on the floor when I found her and the cage was really high up ontop of the gerbil cage so she's fell/climbed down their cage. Suprised she didn't hurt herself!! Was at the vet today with her babies and she is healthy so she was lucky.
