Default Dilemma

the woman who i rehomed speckles from has texted me and asked if i would like snowy to rehome (she didnt rehome same time as speckles as she didnt ''trust'' the person who she was going to give him too so decided to take him home with her)

In a sense id love too rescue him but alternatively i know he isnt getting mistreated etc etc... and i dont particular want another hamster at the moment i am happy and content with dora. then i think i could offer him a fantastic home.. im so confused on the matter.

its lovely she has thought of me as she trusts me for the lil man.. wah i just dont know!!!

It is a kind thing to even consider it, as you have had an emotional rollercoaster with speckles, and I bet it took it's toll on you. Maybe you could help the lady re-home Snowy to a good place? If yofu aren't ready for another hamster, don't feel bad, just do what is best for you and Dora.

yeah it has and i am quite content with doras demanding ways and in a selfish way if i did want another hamster id like to ''pick'' which one i home.. although i have saw snowy when collecting speckles and he is a gorgeous big fluffball. yeah thats a good idea helping her as she did say if i didnt want him then she wouldnt re-advertise which again kinda makes me feel tied to the situation cos if they dont want him (although not badly treated) he could be having a even better home elsewhere.

this is how i feel too i know dora is healthy etc and im still raw from speckles short time with me i dont know if i could handle going through that again although he is around same age as dora so isnt old like speckles was and i dont regret for a moment rehoming her she was a special lil lady.

Don't feel forced is all i can say, there are plenty of other great homes out there for snowy
If you have to stop and think about whether you want snowy then your obviously not 100% there. I know i always want to feel the tug at my heart strings before i get a hamster

i do have the tug but agree not 100% sure if i thought for a moment he wasnt well cared for (regardless them wanting to rehome him to me) id take him in a flash as i would never knowingly want a hamster to suffer.

how are you feeling FM?

How i feel?
I'm feeling alright, i finally cleaned out peggys cage today which set me off again. But i can't wait for it to have the new addition bouncing around it
A baby hamster is just what i need i think, my boys are way to calm and easy going for my liking
