Just catching up with things! Hope Hammis is okay minicooper. The sand I use is pre-weighed and bagged and has a fine, gritty texture to it if you rub it between your fingers. Dust is just that, dust!

Hope you are well soon too minicooper.

Hope there have been no lasting ill effects from Hammis' encounter with the Chinchilla dust. Give her bottom a good wipe over with the corner of a baby wipe to remove the yellow staining, and be sure to pat it dry with a kitchen towel afterwards, if it is a real nuisance.

Bear in mind this should not be done on a regular basis, only really for showing purposes or if the staining/discharge is a nuisance. And it also will not affect her smell a great deal.
