I Feel like a really bad hamster owner at the moment and i really dont know Why D:
i just feel like they have a bad life with me

From everything I have read that you have posted it sounds like your hamsters have a wonderful life with you. Cookie obvioulsy knows this too otherwise she would not have let you hold her at your cousin's house.

John what on Earth are you on about?

Everyone isn't John daft?! His hammies are well loved. He spends every evening setting up toys on the landing for them to each have their own playtime. They gets loads of attention. In fact I've just been upstairs & Gizmo is out having a play right now in his room.

Dont be silly (and listen to your mother!) you do an amazing job with them, go and give them all a cuddle, that will make you feel better

Yes i think one of the main characteristics of a great hamster owner is constant worry and care that they dont have enough toys or space or cuddles or playpen time and then we panic. Dont worry!

i always worry mine dont get enough attention lol but your a really good owner!

Totally agree! I think, "Popcorn could do with something new" then I think "Should I change his toys, or will he be upset?" then "I know, I'll let him check out new toys during playtime, so he can scent them and eventually have them in his cage if he likes them" - it would be so much easier if hammies could talk to us! John, it comes across that you really do love your hams, and your taming is going great; if they could tell you themselves, I'm sure they would say "I love being your hammie". I know it sometimes feels like you want to do more, but remember hammies are happiest with the simple things; nice grub, fresh bottle, a wheel, and some gentle cuddles, with the occasional treat. They know how to enjoy life to the full
