Fuzee Fi - gained weight!
Last Friday I weighed Fuzee Fi - she was 55g. Today she was 70g! She has changed in her face - and she does look a bit bigger. She seems to be less wigglely too when being smoothed and handled...
just wanted to let you all know. Will try and get some new foto's soon so you can see how she's grown..

Young hamsters always amaze me by how quickly they grow! Maybe it is all the tofu and good protein she is having! Glad to hear she is taming nicely. Told you she would She may be long coated if her fur is growing long. On first weigh at about 14 days ours were about 18g and now they are between 170 & 208g at six months.

We use a toothbrush but find the best thing is actually a little hamster comb which you can buy in most petshops or I have seen them on Ebay. Females do not get as long coats as males so they just look like lovely little fluffballs and they do not really get bedding tangled in their coat as much as a male would.

great news and she is indeed a longhaired hamster so well worth investing in a small hamster comb
