Question Hamster Sitter. Edinburgh

As my title suggest I will be shortly needing some-one to sit my hamster. This is not a request post, i dont want some-one to reply offering thier service. Rather i would like some advice on:

-Who to chose?

-How I should go about it?

-How much I would be expecting to pay ( for 4 days)?

-How far i should expect to travel for the service?

And just anything else you would like to add. Thanks : )

MY INFO
-Syrian Hammy
-10 weeks old
-4 days
-I live in Edinburgh

well i would have a browse through the hammy list we have if you do not have a family member or friend who could hamwatch.

If you fine anyone have a little scan through their posts and see if you fel you trust them.

Contact them and ask if they are free and willing to hamsit.

If so a box of chocs would suffice as we all help each other out.

How far you wish to travel is up to you

The small animal shelter where I volunteer in Edinburgh does hamster sitting for 10 pound a week, probably cheaper if it's only 4 days,I don't know if this is expensive or cheap compared to the norm though! ( I know you said no offers but they are really knowledgable and look after every animal well )
