Default Rodipet syrian vs Teddy

So I plan to change my shorthaired approx 20 weeks old syrian on to rodipet.
So I have looked on their website the have 2 junior mixes.

One for long haired syrian hamster
crude fibre: 8.9 %
crude protein: 17.6 %
crude oils and fats: 8.2 %
crude ash: 3.6 %

With 35 ingredients
Yellow millet, corn flakes, barley, pumpkin seeds, oat flakes, rye, carrots, buckwheat, parsnip, clover seeds, parboiled peas, toasted soy beans, hempseed, parsley leaves, rapeseed, beetroot, camelina seeds, quinoa, birch leaves, alfalfa seeds, amaranth, spinach leaves, red clover seeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, hazel leaves, marigold petals, evening primrose seeds, poppy seeds, golden linseed, nettle seeds, milk thistle seeds, aniseed, black sesame seeds, brown linseed

They also have a mix for regular shorthaired syrians
crude fibre: 7.9 %
crude protein: 14.9 %
crude oils and fats: 9.2 %
crude ash: 3.2 %

with 23 ingredients
Corn flakes, yellow millet, oat flakes, barley, carrots, pumpkin seeds, rye, parsnip, parboiled peas, beetroot, amaranth, hempseed, buckwheat, brown linseed, parsley leaves, birch leaves, dandelion root, spinach leaves, fennel seeds, golden linseed, sesame seeds, toasted soybeans, hazel leaves

To me the longhaired mix looks better, it has more varity and more protein.
Would I do my shorthaired syrian a disfavour by buying her the long haired mix?

Longhaired food: Rodipet® Organic Teddy Hamster Food ''JUNiOR'' - 500g
Shorthaired food: Rodipet® Organic Syrian Hamster Food ''JUNiOR'' - 500g

Wouldn't have thought so. The length of a hamster's fur doesn't make any difference to a hamster's physiology.

Always thought it to be a bit of a gimmick by Rodipet to differentiate between a long and short haired hamster.
Same as their junior and senior dwarf hamster mixes are the same but they market it as two separate items.

I do like Rodipet a lot but my Syrians prefer the cheap and chunky Harry Hamster to the more expensive, small textured, herby continental mixes. I have put different mixes to the test.

Thats what I thought the length of hair can’t affect nutritional needs.

My hamster was on pets at home musli when I got her and I didn’t want to change food amidst moving and all the other stress. But now I want to get her something better. So I haven’t tried her on Harry hamster or anything else.

Harry Hamster is a good allrounder. I get the Bunny Dreams mix from Zooplus for my dwarfs and order a bag of Syrian Bunny Dreams as well for a bit of added variety. That's a continental mix as well but cheaper than Rodipet.

I’ll look in to the bunny dream mix and Harry hamster combo. Thank you for your suggestions.
