Lifafernim, dont worry nothing you’ve said was offensive, in fact it was helpful! although I think you misunderstood some things, for one the question here is
Statistics vs Sunflower seeds because this foodmix I saw while. searching and finding references Had 2.5 fat and as you can see in the photo of the original post it has quite the sunflower seeds, although still having a lot of the other seeds too.

now the problem is that it conflicts with sunflower seeds being fatty and unhealthy which brings up the sunflower seed controversy, my hamsters current seedmix is running out and I’m looking for a better one before it’s completely out to help my ham in adapting to the new one, but the whole point of this thread for me, is to understand this “problem” with sunflower seeds.

now for the you mushroom question I think you should find a specific type of mushroom, I think its probably safe for them to eat but its still better safe than sorry, although I doubt it will cause much of a problem when eaten
