Default Freeze dried chicken treats

Would these treats of freeze dried chicken be okay for a hamster in small amounts as a tear with a protein boost? They look fine as ingredients just say "chicken". The pieces might be a big big for a hamster but presumably you can cut them into smaller pieces. I'd only give a very small piece or they won't eat it all.

I used to get something similar for cats (to give to hamster) - pieces were the right size. I was going to link it but seems they;re no longer in stock. However one thing I will say is, when they go off they absolutely stink! Once the packet is open they can start going off within 2 or 3 weeks and you end up wasting a lot. So I stopped bothering in the end. For extra protein supplements I give half a nut twice a week (eg half a brazil nut or half a walnut) - they love nuts. And occasional bit of scrambled egg.

142g is a lot of dried chicken because it's so light. I buy it from Zooplus in approx. 25g tubes which is a much more reasonable quantity. My hamster also loves the dried salmon.

I treat fresh cooked plain chicken and cook her a chicken leg every 2wks (obviously she doesn't eat it all). Like with anything fresh over frozen is better and they prefer it too!
