Do you know if that applies to the hamster mix they sell as well? I thought it was by Mixerama which has a better rating than Rodipet in Germany, apparently.

Are you sure it’s from Mixerama? I thought it probably was until I saw it & I don’t recognise it, could be I guess but not at all sure.
Mixerama do a range of hamster mixes & they vary a lot, some are really good others I’m not so impressed with.

Yes it appears it is - going by the listing of th efoods - it says it is mixed in Germany - and somewhere else on their website they say the same thing and state Mixerama.

If you look on the hamingway website and scroll to where it says 'Myps Zwergen Zauber' then 'mixerama' underneath that the list of ingredients are the exact same. The link doesn't seem to keep it on the mixerama page - you will have to put mixerama in the brand box on the top left of the page.

The ingredients list does seem to be the same Luna, that’s the one Mixerama food I didn’t cross check as I’ve had that & the small sample I got from ratrations looked nothing like it, that’s actually a pretty good mix from Mixerama or it was when I tried it some time ago but didn’t look anything like this.

Oh what is interesting is the Hamingway seems to rate the bunny dreams dwarf expert higher then the mixerama ones. I might stick with that one after all.

I’d never heard of Hamingway before you mentioned it, personally I don’t take much notice of ratings, it’s a bit of a moot point now as they no longer deliver to the UK but I do think that Mixerama food is better than the Bunny dream one. I’m thinking maybe my tiny sample size bag from RR could just have been from a large bag or box (whatever) that hadn’t been kept thoroughly mixed up & it was just all the smaller bits maybe.

sorry I'm not sure on the mixerama one but it does say on the dwarf hamster mix
'This Dwarf Hamster Basic is a supplementary mixture, not a complete diet, and is perfect for combining with other dry mixes for variety.

Feed in conjunction with a suitable supplement such as Tiny Animals or Daily Essentials and Calcivet. Fresh vegetables should also be given.

Update: ratrations has agreed to refund my full order after i had enquired about a refund or part refund, more out of principle than anything else.
