Default Dried fruit preservatives

Hi everyone!
I've bought some dried fruit and was hoping to feed some to my mice but I'm struggling to find out if the preservatives are safe. (I'm assuming that preservatives safe for hamsters are also safe for mice).
The preservatives are sodium metabisulphite, potassium sorbate and sulphur dioxide. The apricots also have acidity regulators (Citric acid and malic acid) and the cranberries have fruit juice derived syrup from pineapple and sunflower oil.

Thanks for any advice

You don't want additives at all. Freeze dried fruit is the safest with no additives - go for that.

Sulfur dioxide(sulphur dioxide in some other places as it can be labelled) in particular you definitely don't want. Dyes, preservatives, oils, and sugars are all unwanted for dried fruits. Just get plain freeze dried fruit with nothing added, or better yet feed fresh fruits instead!

Ok thank you! Glad I checked. I couldn't find any plain dried fruit apart from dates so I will just feed fresh.
