If you get a bag that looks like it may last that long don't forget to check the use by date! The shelf life for linseed doesn't tend to be that long.

Thank you, Cypher and Serendipity. I feel tempted to buy some for me as well as Freya!

Hi again,

I just wanted to check if a small pinch of these would be safe to give my dwarf hamster?

Omega Seed Mix | Nature's Best

Can you give them a small amount of extra seeds daily or just as a treat?

Many thanks

I give all my hamsters a pinch of brown linseeds daily and buy them at the co-op.
The ones you have in mind look fine to me.

For anyone that uses it, Bunny Dwarf HamsterDream Expert is available to purchase on Zooplus again. I was informed they would no longer be stocking it!

Thanks for info. My dwarfs always leave the herby/grassy bits and the same with the Rodipet mix so i'll try the one from ratrations next. I've just ordered some for the dwarfs and the Syrians. See how they get on with that one.

I have bought a 200g bag dwarf food from Rat Rations as I care for fussy eater.
My hamster don't eat pellets (the bits which look like dogs food) and I have to throw away a lot of HH.
He seems to get better with Dwarf food from RR - eats majority of it.
Unfortunately I am left with big jar of HH food, but I use the bits he likes (sunflower seeds, flat dried peas, corn) as a treats.

Last week u purchased a 1 kg dwarf food from Zooplus and 3.4kg of woodshavings. My hamster loves to play in the cardboard box and paper linning it arrived in, as it is quite large and tall
