Pls help my hamsters and mice with kaytee lab blocks

I'm just wondering are kaytee lad blocks safe to feed to mice amd hamsters cus I heard it's not for rats I buy just plain lad blocks with no colors or dyes

You really don't need lab blocks and I wouldn't be feeding Kaytee foods anyways - they're quite poor quality in general, and even the "higher quality" lab blocks aren't that great.

Higgins Vita Garden is the proper diet for hamsters of any species in the US & Canada. For mice, I'm personally using their Sunburst rat & mouse food for my pair of female rats although their Vita Garden rat & mouse food might be a better choice for them if you can find that for the mice. Obviously a lot of people might also suggest Oxbow for mice(completely unsuitable for hamsters), but that is a personal choice in my opinion.
