Default Good to have a bowl of veg in a cage?

Hiya!
I've been thinking about keeping a bowl of fresh lettuce and/or other fresh veggies in my hamster's cage, because Nibbles is now scatter fed, and that means I have a hamster food bowl that I want to use somehow. If I can put something like this in his cage, how much should I put in it, and how often should I refill it? Thanks!

I think a bowl is a good idea! Maybe put a small spoonful in few days a week in the evening? Also if you want to, you could put some veggies in the bowl and some in random places, so your hamster can find the veggies around the cage too.
