How Good Is Getzoo Dwarf Hamster Food?
Hi guys!
I'm getting set up for the arrival of a new little guy (Russian Campbells) and saw what looked like a great food with low sugar and lots of variation - Getzoo Dwarf Hamster Food. They specifically talk about how it's based on the forage native to dwarf hamster's natural habitats and minimises sugar to avoid diabetes. However, I haven't been able to find too many reviews on hamster forums despite how specialised this food seems to be.
It all looks great, but I'm coming from being one of those kids that just really knew nothing about their first pet, so would love to hear some more experienced opinions on their quality.

I would stick with Rodipet personally. They're extremely high quality foods(the best hamster foods on the market if I'm being honest), organically sourced, and you'd still be able to find foods suited to hybrids with no added sugar, no dried fruits, etc.

I haven’t used it personally but know some people who do & have heard good things about it so I’m pretty sure it would be fine to use, Rodipet does have the advantage of being organic & if you’re in the UK cheaper delivery costs but other than that I think Getzoo, Mixerama or Rodipet are all good choices.

Re: How Good Is Getzoo Dwarf Hamster Food?
I decided to try the getzoo food earlier this year. Like you didn’t find many reviews on hamster forums about them - as I was placing an order on getzoo so I thought I would give them a try. I was intrigued to see what my hamsters thought of the mixes and I wanted to see how they compared to the rodipet mixes which my hamsters were previously on. Well my three absolutely love the getzoo food - and are less picky - and I’m too much more happier with the variety of the getzoo mixes. So I will be sticking to the getzoo mixes. The main downside to the getzoo food is the cost of shipping which is quite pricey but if you are getting other items and can make most of the delivery then they are definitely a great food option.
Although rodipet food are also another good quality food too and the delivery cost is much better. So they are a great option also to consider too. And like the getzoo food they too are low in sugar and are also tailored more toward the natural diet of each species.

Re: How Good Is Getzoo Dwarf Hamster Food?
Thank you all so much for your input! When this batch runs out I will definitely look into Rodipet more, but for the moment the Getzoo I got looks really good. Especially as after Brian was adopted by someone else, I found a robo that needs adoption asap(family got a pet without asking the landlord), and the tiny pieces look perfect. I will leave a personal review once the little one has had a chance to try it.
