Default Are these treats hamster-safe?

I need to place a feed order and saw these on chewy.com. Just because the bag says hamsters can have them doesn't mean they can. Anyone see any ingredients that would be a red flag? We also have gerbils so interested in knowing safety for those as well. TY! https://www.chewy.com/oxbow-bene-ter...rley/dp/123549

They do have molasses as the third ingredient as well as fruit so I wouldn't recommend buying them for either hamsters or gerbils as they don't need the added sugar. If you already have them, feed them very sparingly (and not at all to Russian dwarf or Chinese hamsters).

I'd agree with sushi_78, as a very rare treat they wouldn't be harmful really but I wouldn't feed them to a hamster.

The ingredients are all safe so I don’t see why not as an occasional treat.

Great, I’m struggling to get the small whimzees - without buying a massive packet, will see if these work as a replacement

You don't necessarily have to go for the smallest size Whimzees with hamsters - for example the hedgehog ones are also used with hamsters and those aren't small by any means. The main thing with larger sizes is that they should last longer.

I'm not sure what places in the UK might stock the smaller packs of multiple Whimzees, but I know I've seen that in the US at least in Petsmart for example with 3 of the smallest size alligators I believe.

I choose the small ones as if she has them for too long she just pees on them! I do get her the stick ones which I cut in half. She pees on the alligator/croc lol
