Default food to mix with?

Hi, I'm new to looking after hamsters and I have been doing a lot of research about the diet finding that mixing food seems to be the best way to go?

I'm hoping to use bunny dream harvest dream expert

protein -15%
fat - 6.5%
fiber - 6%

I know protein and fiber are a little low so was wondering if anyone new anything suitable to mix it with, that's also available in the UK because a lot of good brands aren't.

Thanks

One 500g packet of Bunny mixed with one 25g tube of Thrive freeze-dried chicken cat treats gives 18.8% protein, 6.4% fat and 6.7% fibre. I get the Thrive treats from Zooplus.

You an increase the fibre a little by giving some fresh veg each day, mealworms are a good source of protein but also high in fat but an extra one or two a day is fine & they also contain some fibre.
Dried chicken is good, I also give mine fresh plain tofu which they love.

The Bunny dream food is quite good but you might also consider getting food from Rodipet, delivery costs aren't that different to zooplus & the quality of the food is better.

I’ve had look at rodipet, is the fat percentage not too high being about 8-9% depending which food? Feeding that along side mealworm which are also high in fat? Also do you know if you can feed the dwarf mix to a Syrian? It doesn’t says the fat, fiber or protein of the dwarf ones I’ve looked at on the website

The fat percentage in the Rodipet food is fine but you would have to be careful not to feed too much in the way of extras that are high in fat if you use that diet.
It does look as though they aren't showing the GA for the organic food mixes for some reason but the other mixes all show it & it should be pretty much if not exactly the same.
I wouldn't feed the dwarf mixes to a Syrian ham, they do need different diets & Syrians don't seem to be so keen on the tiny seeds that dwarf hams love.
