Smile Dog Biscuits For Hamsters?!

Hi

I have been reading a little about dog biscuits for hamsters and wondered if any high quality biscuits are ok as long as they do not contain onion/garlic.
I am currently trialling my dog on some new biscuits called Yora which is an insect based dog food. Might sound a little strange but google them.. my dog is very impressed! I was just wondering it my hamster could possible try one?!

I see some people also give their hamsters Pedigree Biscrok biscuits but I can only get the milky ones at my local pet shop. Are these any good?

Many thanks

ive heard of some people giving their hamsters milk bones, but apparently these aren't the greatest for them (though i can't remember why)

if you're looking for chews, whimzees dog treats are really good for hamsters to chew on.

I gave my Syrian dogs biscuits once a week, he loved it! They can be a great way to help keep their teeth from over growing and help with boredom. I used blue buffalo dog biscuits, although be careful and always check the ingredients. Avoid cinnamon as well!

Thanks, but unfortunately my hamster isn't interested in whimzees. I even tried a little peanut butter on it and he just licked it off! He's a fussy little monkey!

Milk bones aren't very good due to the low quality ingredients and artificial additives. This is true of any Pedigree, Milk Bone, etc(essentially all grocery store) dog biscuit.

Onion and garlic aren't the only ingredients to avoid, since there are quite a few red flag ingredients like meat and bone meal or "animal" biproduct meal for example along with "E&C approved" dyes or what you'd see here in the USA as your red 40 and such(known to cause cancer so they shouldn't be given at all).
