Is Peanut Butter Alright for Hamsters?

I read on another topic that people give their hamsters peanut butter, and they love it, is it safe? and how much do you advise to give if it is safe?

I give it to my hamsters very occasionally as a treat... not too much though I usually just dip my finger in and let them lick it off

i wouldnt give it too often...it contains a lot of sugar. i would rather give them a peanut instead...

no...unsalted i know they love them

yeah its fun watching them...but i havent foung them in glasgow yet

I think I got mine from Wilkinsons in the bird section But I think they had them in Pets at Home in the bird section too if you have one of those near you?
