Question Cambells diet

Hello! I have a senior cambells dwarf (2yrs, 2months) and another cambells dwarf (5months). What should I feed them? For the record, I live in Sweden and I'd rather ship things closer to where I am. Right now I use the Harry hamster mixed with the complete gerbil and hamster food. In my shops I don't have much to choose from, mostly Harry hamster, vitakraft's food, the burgess complete and a few other things.

Thanks!

In Sweden you should definitely be able to do better for food, Harry hamster is not the best unfortunately neither is the other one can you order online? I’m pretty certain mixerama and rodipet ship there, they do Campbell suitable mixes that would work. I’ve used the rodipet hybrid mix and liked it but for two dwarfs I’d look into the larger amounts offered either at mixerama or getzoo or you’ll get through it very quickly. With the mixes I mentioned there will be no need for pellet foods like the burgess one you’re using, just the addition of animal protein in the form of insects is adequate.

Which of the rodipet foods should I go for? Could you get a link from which website and all that? Can't find it.

Thanks!

Rodipet food: https://www.rodipet.de/shop/futter/r...ior-500-g.html
The jr and senior are the same so it would do both your dwarfs. As you can see it is quite expensive hence my other suggestions.

I asked my mum and she doesn't think that I should order online. She says that the ones in the shops here should do, are there any options that I have available?

I have mealworms that I add, but since the Harry hamster isn't a good option, Are there any better base mixes that I can use instead?

Sorry I don’t know about ones in store. Potentially the Bunny dwarf hamster dream expert? If you can find that it would work. Most commercial mixes aren’t going to be ideal I’m afraid so it’ll be worth trying to convince your mum if you can as a good diet is essential - not only for nutrition & health but for enrichment too.

I found a food in my local pet store, is it good? It's called the Versele-Laga Mini Hamster, don't know if you have heard of it. It contains seeds, nuts, fruit, herbs and vegetables.
The protein is 17,5%
The fiber is 8%
And the fat is 8,5%

Don't know if you can tell if it's a good food just from this info, but there's more info on the website if you want it unless there's an english site that sells it that you can look at yourself.

I know that the protein is kinda low but I have kittens that eat a food that is safe for hamsters and it is a great suppliment of protein that I can add.
