Question Raw Sunflower Seeds?

Hey guys, I’m back with another probably overthought question!
So I noticed that my new Syrian enjoyed sunflower seeds so I bought a big bag of “raw” sunflower seeds at Sprouts because I know that the salt isn’t good for them. (I think)
I read the fine print tonight and I realized it said something about how because they are raw that there might be harmful bacteria in the seeds? It’s probably super rare and it only says that so they won’t get sued, but I am still worried about Charlie eating them. Are raw sunflower seeds ok for hamsters?

It's probably fine. I don't think they're as prone to harboring mold and such as peanuts(specifically raw peanuts and or non-human grade peanuts) or some corn, and the nutritional value is probably higher in raw form.

Mine really love the plain sunflower seeds that you can buy for garden birds and I'd go so far as to say that it's their favourite treat.

I don't think we've got that fine print on any of the bags of seeds that are sold in supermarkets in the UK so it's probably a really, really tiny chance that there's anything you need to worry about but they're just covering their own backs.

I buy the sunflower seeds in their shells and loose, not in a packet because my hamster likes to crack the shells open to get the seed out. I suppose the shell also keeps bacteria out but i don't really worry about bacteria. Hamsters are animals who sniff and nibble everything so i would imagine that they are not that prone to catching an illness caused by bacteria.
