Is bottled water safe for hamsters?
Hi all, in the UK severn trent water company are doing something in our area to the water pipes for 4 days.
So they have advised to avoid using the water if possible, and to fill up buckets of water etc to use.
So I will be filling up buckets of water before the company starts the work in the area, do i just use the water that is from the bucket, which will go old kinda quickly..
Or am i safe to use bottled water for my hamster for the 4 days?

Re: Is bottled water safe for hamsters?
Bottled water is fine. We use it all the time as we're on a private spring supply. I always get Highland spring though as the bottles are bpa free. But have used other bottled water without ill effects.
If you store some tap water in bottles and keep it in the fridge it should be fine for 2 or 3 days too. Bottled water, once opened should also be kept in the fridge and used within 2 or 3 days.
