So what do you feed mangoandmimi or recommend? I'd like a dwarf mix that has a good variety not just full of millet as most seem to be and easy enough to get hold off. When I had my last dwarf I purchased the Burgess dwarf mix which people rate as a good mix and I'm sure it is but I found it was mostly millet and I was worried that was all aflie was eatting. That's what I think but I'm maybe wrong.

I have a robo and she is currently on the Rodipet Hybrid mix and really likes it. Before this she was also on the Bunny dwarf hamster dream expert - which is also nice but I'm quite certain it made her gain unwanted weight somehow hence the diet change back to the hybrid mix, which she definitely prefers. I know postage is a lot of money but if you buy 2 or 3 bags at once and store them in the freezer it isn't quite so bad. Maybe see if mixerama deliver to you because they do larger quantities of food for much cheaper even with expensive delivery, which may work out at a better price if you buy more. I know what you mean about the Burgess one, I wasn't overly impressed either it did lack variety but it was one of the very few dwarf specific mixes available.

I have to say the rodipet one does look very good. I do like their products and have my Syrians have the houses and so does my dwarf. It's good it comes with a measuring spoon too. Literally food for thought. It is about £9 each and then if my memory serves me right £9 for postage. But if it's the mix quality mix out there then it looks like that's my only option and I love the fact it is organic

What's mixerama?

Yes I am impressed with it. None of it gets left either but I suppose that'll vary with each hamster. Postage for me was £4.50 ish which isn't bad, it's the price of the food that's steep! Mixerama is another site that sells good quality food, postage is around £10 I think but the food is a good price.

If it was that postage for me that's very reasonable. But sadly no. I've never heard of mixerama but if the postage is 10 for you dear knows what it be for me! Is there any other mix out there that would be good for hybrids? Or really is the bunny and the rodipet it? I do want to do right by her obviously and I don't want her getting sick - she's only my second dwarf but I find them more tricky to feed especially hybrids

Ok so had a look at the mixerama site - the Germans and their hamster stuff is amazing. Postage is 11.90 and for a 1000g bag of this is 6.99 euro so all in all much cheaper as you say compared with rodipet and I get a bigger bag which should do me a right wee while. I think I'm going for it. Only got her yesterday so I don't want her to be on the wrong thing for too long. Hope it comes fairly soon. Thanks everyone for your all your help.

That isn't a bad price. The Myps one is a good one to go for, I think that one doesn't have animal protein but there is another with it in the form of shrimp which would be easier for you. Apart from there and also Getzoo (equally expensive) there aren't really other places I know of I'm afraid.

Ah getzoo I forgot about it I have purchased from their before. Thanks! I can't believe how tame she is already. She's so sweet and friendly. She allowed me to handle her this morning and this evening just walked onto my hands
