Default best 'leafy' mix?

Hi all, iv'e been using rosewoods natures salad but tonight i went to get some and there was a dried bug stuck to a leaf! it looked like it was cut in half. no idea what insect it was, possibly a worm.. didn't know if it was safe for hammies to eat so may stop using it

(there is nothing in the ingredients list that corresponds to it)

suggestions please?

I wouldn't worry too much about a dead bug, you can just pick over the mix before you give it & remove something like that, it is best to freeze any dried plant before using, I usually freeze for about a week, just in case of any live bugs or eggs that could be a problem.
If you want to try something different there's the Burgess excel country garden or mountain meadow herbs, a few different JR farms mixes at Zooplus, Ratrations have a good selection of individual dried plants, leaves, flowers etc you can mix yourself & I think P@H do some mixes too.

It was most likely just a bug eating the plants when the leaves were harvested. I buy the Wilko Nature’s Salad (just the Rosewood mix rebranded) and I’ve never had an issue with it.

Woodlands do some different leafy mixes but none of them have as much variety as the rosewood ones. http://www.petsathome.com/shop/en/pe...ingPage_Treats

P@H sell tiny bags of flower mixes. http://www.petsathome.com/shop/en/pe...forage+toppers

There’s some mixes of Zooplus that have good reviews as well. https://www.zooplus.co.uk/shop/small...l_plant_snacks

Like the others have said, I wouldn’t worry about the dead bug to much. If you freeze the mix it will kill off any eggs growing.
In the US, we really don’t have to many options in the leafy mixes so I can’t be much help. Cypher and alpacassei recommended som good mixes.
