Morning All,
I ordered some more bedding yesterday and noticed that Fitch have an offer on with the supreme food & 10 kgs of bedding

https://www.fitchfirst.co.uk/fitch-p...-delivery.html

hope the link works - looks like a pretty good deal (I think)

In my opinion it isn’t a good deal really - especially comparing prices of the 10kg bag on its own costing £17.80 this means you are paying £2.59 for the food (which is the price I have seen this food mix sold elsewhere). Plus Mr. Johnson’s Supreme hamster food isn’t a good mix - as two ingredients that I wouldn’t want in my hamster mix are sugar beet and molasses (basically sugar).

I agree, not as good as it appears unfortunately.
I definitely wouldn't recommend that food, always be wary of any food claiming to be suitable for more than one species, also in addition to the ingredients already mentioned it contains Verm-X, a very dubious ingredient in ham food originally marketed to prevent parasites in horses!

No not a good deal - the food isn't a good mix for hamsters and not really a saving on the Fitch either. Always best to go with a specific hamster mix - anything that claims to be for two species isn't the best for hamsters.
