Default Hamster plants

I was thinking of planting some plants for my two hybrid dwarf hamsters they realy like there herbs out of the garden but and the few bits of seed grass that have collected for them but I wanted to plant something specifically for them so that I can be 100% sure no other animals have come into contact with them. I was thinking about getting this seed mix: (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/...FGTGCN5F&psc=1)
then planting it in some coir which is coconut fiber it wouldn't be for in the cage just for playpen time/I might take some cuttings and give it to them with their veg.
Does anyone know whether there is anything in the seed mix that would not be suitable or any more suitable alternatives seeds mixes to plant?
Also would the coir be a problem for them for a short time when out of the cage?

I'm not sure about the seed mixes but I'm growing some parsley for Archimedes. He loves the parsley treats the P@H sell so I fiqure I'd grow some for him. I personally don't eat heabs other then in those in things like pizza sauce, spag-bowl ect. But Archimedes love parsley so...needs must.

I might be worth looking around for packs of individual seeds. The price of the seed pack you linked to is, to me at least, quite pricey. The parsley seeds I have were £1.05 for a pack of 1000. Of course price and quanity of seeds will depend on the seed type and size but it may end up being cheaper in the long run.
Also, I don't know what half of those seeds are in the mix. If I don't know what it is, I wont give it to ickle boy.

As it says Rabbit/Guinea Pig, I would check with others on here before ordering just to make sure its safe. As I said, I don't know half of those seeds so I don't know if they are safe for hamster.

Regardless, in my opinion, growing plants and letting your hamster eat it straight from the plant as I plan to do with the parsley is a good idea, put it this way, you can't get any fresher .

Shelled warrior do a hamster mix so I would use that rather than the rabbit/guinea pig mix, not sure if Amazon sell it but you can get it on ebay here.

Coir should be fine for growing your seeds.
Unless you plan to cut bits off to give them bear in mind that the plants won't last long! They will demolish them pretty quickly if you give them the pot, they'll eat some & trample on them & generally make a mess of them which is really fun for them & great to watch but it means it's not really worth growing a lot in one go, better to grow just small amounts & let them enjoy that.
I did a thread on growing sprouts & seeds here if you're interested in more ideas for growing things.
Sprouts three ways!

Ah thank you ive now bought the hamster seeds i don't think they do them on amazon or i couldn't find them anyway.
Thanks for the advice in regards to trampling i've got some small terracotta saucers so i'm planning of sowing them in succession so they can have some regularly if they like them if not they can go back to having for herbs a few of days a week.
