Question Hamster Treats

Hiya!
I’ve recently bought some new hamster treats (Vet IQ’s Berry Nibblots) for my new Syrian hamster, Puff, and she’s loving them. Snatching them out of my fingers I was hoping someone could tell me of any other treats that your hamster seems to love. The one’s I have were the only suitable ones sold at P@H. I’ve heard Yogurt Drops are a big favourite.
Also, how often would you recommend feeding treats from different brands? The Nibblots recommend only 1 a day for hamsters, which of course I abide by.
Thank you!

I give pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds as a natural type of treat. Also millet sprays, oat sprays, and wheat sprays are a favorite as well. These I normally give once in a while.

Forage is another good option. I personally use the Higgins Sunburst Gourmet Natural Treats (Veggie Garden) as well as the Sunseed Vita Prima Sun Salad for dwarf hamsters. I give a small scoop for them twice a week.

Also a favorite for my hamsters is Tiny Hearts from Friends Farm. As well as, Gerber's baby puffs which I normally don't give more than 2 per day. These come in a variety of flavors.

Also you can give Whimzee's dog chews and Milkbone biscuits. These I only give once a week.

Hope this helps you! Enjoy Puff!

The nibblots are ok but I wouldn't give those every day, maybe two or three a week at most, yogurt drops are basically junk food for hams! Not a healthy option, ok for a rare treat maybe but not a regular thing.
I would stick to natural treats as much as possible, sunflower seeds (in the shell), pumpkin, hemp & flax seeds are good, some syrians like millet sprays but not all, same goes for dried mealworms.
Small pieces of nut, walnut, brazil, cashew, pinenut, almond, pecan are all fine, you could give half a nut once or twice a week or just a teeny piece more often if you want something for hand feeding.
The boredom breakers range includes some good healthy treats & some are available at P@H or various places online.
Nibble pots seem to be popular too.
I don't keep Syrians but I'm sure those who do may be able to offer some more specific favourites.
Whimzee dog chews are a bit of a must have for most hams! The toothbrush one is probably best but the other shapes are fine too.

ETA I forgot to say that if you want to hand feed you can just take out some of the tastiest bits from the daily mix, things like the sunflower seeds & use those to hand feed as "treats".

Rainbow receives sunflower seeds as they are natural and to be honest, one of the only things she enjoys! My daughter (CBB) just bought the gurbers treats to give to her hamsters (I dont know if she is planning to give it to just her syrian or Flan and Maduros as well) and she said she is happy to give rainbow one and see what she thinks.
