Nature’s Touch Hamster line... thoughts and opinions?
Hey everyone,
I came across a new hammy food in a pet shop the other day called Nature’s Touch. It intrigued me with its claims of being a completely natural source of nutrition for hammy’s as I have been thinking recently of moving them onto a more natural diet and creating a more natural enclosure for them.
I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with this food brand and can say whether it truly is a good source of nutrition for the little critters?
Thanks 😁

Re: Nature’s Touch Hamster line... thoughts and opinions?
I've never used it but looking at the ingredients it's ok, not a great variety of ingredients, I'm not sure about the GA, couldn't find it online.
It's doesn't have pellets in I don't think but other than that it isn't any more natural than other foods, same additives etc.
I think if I remember rightly someone here used it as a supplement to Harry Hamster just for a bit more variety.

Thanks! I’ll probably just consider using it alongside their regular food then to mix it up a bit 🙂

Re: Nature’s Touch Hamster line... thoughts and opinions?
That's me cypher! Yes, I use Nature's Touch but not as the main food. Harry Hamster remains the best basic food but I tried NT, mixing a little in to create variety. I was afraid of boredom creeping in. I was aware it is not the greatest mix so don't rely on it alone. I have kept using it because all my hamsters have liked it. They don't all like everything in it but then all hamsters pick the bits they like from any mix! It does sound nice from its description but I remember someone didn't like the smell of it. I am used to it now!
I also use Selective Science biscuits leaving a few a week around the cage to be found and they always get gathered up.

Re: Nature’s Touch Hamster line... thoughts and opinions?
I think it would be great to use alongside another mix but not as a the main mix as in my opinion, it does not offer enough variety. But, i was just rambling as cypher and coco's posts tell you everything you need to know
