Vegetables is dependant on what kind of vegetables you feed. Things like cucumber is very high in water content and can certainly cause diarrheoa. I found a list on another forum, can seem to find the link, but I'll post the list below. The list is specifically for dwarves.
Fluffy bedding is bad for them. Can cause it get stuck between their, choking and respiratory problems. Best to remove it immediately. Shred stone toilet paper and leave it in a corner. Your hamster will build a nest with it and will love it.
