Eating bugs/grubs
Today when I was filling in my hamsters food and checking her toys and I noticed that the was a grub in one of the sticks what she had been chewing on I’m not sure if there was and more in side of if she had eating any. So I removed all of those stick out of her cage. It was a creamy white colour white and was about a cm and a half long. I was just wondering if it would do her any harm if she had eaten any.

Re: Eating bugs/grubs
Was it a part of the chew stick? Either way I doubt it'd be of harm since hamsters are omnivores and would naturally eat them when out in the wild. Moreover since as you described it to be creamy white in color, I doubt it'd be anything poisonous. A bright coloration (like red) usually signifies a poisonous bug and animals naturally would steer clear off it.
While my reasoning should hold on a more general perspective, I'd still wait on someone more experienced with hamster diet to confirm my reasoning.

Re: Eating bugs/grubs
By your post it sound like the bug might possible be a moth larvae - it won’t do her any harm if eaten however if it is a moth larvae it best to freeze food to prevent a moth infestation in your house as they can get into your food too (I had experienced this a few years back and it wasn’t nice as it took a while to fully get rid of them).
After buying any food and any natural wooden toys it best to freeze them for at least 48hrs to ensure any possible bugs or eggs in the product are killed. With wooden toys freeze in airtight bag and let to fully thaw before removing from bag to prevent the toy from going mouldy. Make sure any treat once opened are stored in airtight containers - I like to use clip ‘n’ lock tubs for all my hamster food items.
