Default Tinned foods?

Hello everyone.

I recently watched a YouTube video about hamster food, diets what they can and can't eat ect.. At the end of the video they said that giving hamsters veggies like peas and carrots that come in tins was OK.
I read somewhere that this can be dangerous to hamsters, though, so I'm a little bit confused...

Is it safe for them to eat tinned vegetables?

Default Re: Tinned foods?

If the veg are just in water they would be ok but not if anything has been added, fresh veg are by far the best though, if not fresh then frozen.
