Default Sweetcorn?

Hello all.

I bought a mix of dried treats for 'rongeurs' (I live on France) which includes hamsters. It has dried sweetcorn in it.

I have a doubt over sweetcorn because of a friend's experience with her ferret - she ended up at the vets, the grain of sweetcorn came out whole, very painfully, poor thing.

So before I give Pancake sweetcorn I'd like to check it's ok.

Thank you.

Should be fine in moderate amounts.
