Question Wrong chew stick?

Bought a chew stick for my hammys today and accidentally got one that says for rabbits and Guinea pigs and just wanted to know if it would be okay for them to have it still or if it's best just not to. It says the ingredients are wheat, maize, pea, apple and extruded wheat. If anyone knows what would be best that would be great x

Default Re: Wrong chew stick?

If those are the only ingredients then it should be fine... sometimes rabbit treats contain a medication that is designed to treat a gut parasite and these wouldn't be suitable for a hamster but that should be listed on the ingredients if the treats do contain it.
