Bunny dwarf hamster dream expert
I stumbled upon this product in the Danish zooplus web shop:
Bunny Nature Dwarf Hamster Dream Expert
It seems really good, from what I can tell.
Our dwarfs eat burgess right now, which is almost impossible to find in Denmark. They never eat the pellets.
Could this be worth switching to?

Re: Bunny dwarf hamster dream expert
Definitely, it's a good mix with more variety than Burgess, the protein is a little on the low side especially for a young ham but you can easily supplement that with a few extra mealworms or other protein extras.

That was my thought. Since Zelda has passed 1 year it would probably be just perfect balance for her and Tiki already gets and loves the extra worms in her bowl
And I would love to see an actually empty bowl for once

Re: Bunny dwarf hamster dream expert
I got this for my boys to try as I was worried they'd be getting a bit bored with the burgess. They seemed to enjoy it though they didn't seem to be interested in the green seeds (think they might be grass seeds but I'm not sure). Definitely worth giving it a go I would say

Re: Bunny dwarf hamster dream expert
Is it seeds or little beans they leave BP? Just wondering if it might be the mung beans, I've used mixes with those in the past & nobody wanted to touch them! I don't think it matters though.

Re: Bunny dwarf hamster dream expert
Maybe it is mung beans then, they are a bit bigger than a hemp seed. Oh I've just googled them both and yes definitely not grass seeds lol. I feel a bit silly now

Re: Bunny dwarf hamster dream expert
No need to feel silly I just like to know when there are certain things that none of our hams like to eat, there's probably going to be something in just about every mix they don't like but I think they'll most likely eat more of this one than some others.
