Default Anyone tried Excel Nature Snacks??

I found these at PAH, theu have nettle, danelion or mint

the blurb on the back says

Protein 18%

Fibre 24%

Ash 12%

Mint/dandelion or nettle 5%

they contain natural dried grass and herbs

I have bought all three flavours but Mimosa isn't awake yet to try them

I tried these the instant the shop got them in - though not with the hamsters as they are too expensive. My rabbit and guinea pigs love them.

Haven't seen these before - is Excel the brand?

only Ponder touched hers, and only seemed to pull it to shreds. The others ignored them. Maybe I do have defective hamsters :P

Ah yes I have seen them.

This kind of thing is really designed for herbivores - much higher fibre - so I'm not really surprised if some hamsters don't go for it. Most hamsters dont' touch the alfalfa pellets in hamster mixes either for the same reason. I've tried Vitakraft Alfalfa Slims with the hamsters before, Alfie used to love them but noone else has. The gpigs never say no though!

Hmmm, Mimosa is not too impressed at all. She has nibbled it slightly just to be polite, then she tried to squash it back through the bars throwing it out.

My ratties love them and demolish them in seconds.

I think I'd demolish it if it was covered in peanut butter.

Trust rats to eat first taste later!!!
