Question Vitacraft

So i was in a rush and ran into the pet shop to buy my hammy some treats and I've just got home and realised that i have picked up guinea pig treats instead are they still okay to give hamsters or are they unsafe? There is a picture of the packet

They're not necessarily going to be unsafe unsafe for hamsters because they are marketed at guinea pigs but it's best to check the ingredients against the list of what hamsters can and can't eat to be sure.

This is the ingredients thats in it ill have a look at a safe food list

I wouldn't say they're unsafe but really not ideal not because they marketed for guinea pigs but due to the sugar, honey, colours & preservatives, not a very healthy mix!

Think ill leave it then i don't like giving her those type of treats that often and once and a while i should have been paying more attention to what i was buying

When you can't know exact ingredients in a product,it shouldn't be considered safe.That said,Vitakraft tend to have a US ingredients list which is a lot more reliable than UK and Europe lists in many situations including this one(as there is not a single specified ingredient which is quite dangerous for any animal,and products which have no way of determining specific ingredients must not be used as they're just too dangerous).
